So, Hyundai have revealed their first ever hot hatch, the i30N. “Loosely” based on the regular Hyundai i30 the N model puts out a mightily impressive 247bhp – 271bhp based on which package you select.
This is the first model to be released by Hyundai’s N performance division and after test mules taking on 500 laps of the Nurburgring you can guarantee it’s going to pretty sweet to drive.
We’ve got to admit, it looks absolutely gorgeous, they’ve done a great job on that rear end. Moving inside, you’ll find a rather tasteful interior complete with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto, as well as a wireless charging station for your phone!
There’s no mention of price yet, but you can expect it to be somewhere around the price of Focus ST’s, Golf GTI’s or the new Civic Type R, and with it expected to launch by the end of the year we’ll hopefully be able to get our hands on one!
There’s plenty to look forward to when it comes to the i30 N & no doubt any other performance cars that come from Hyundai in years to come.
